Hi there. Yes you can use a governor with the GT-5. When patched to a normal reciever, the governor signal can be plugged into a spare channel on the RX in the normal manner. When the GT-5 is used as the primary Rx, with Spektrum remote satellites, the GT-5 has an output pin (Imp 2) which can be plugged into the governor's speed signal output. In this case the throttle would be plugged into the GT-5's throttle pin input. I use the GT-5 on an X50 N and it works perfectly fine.

Hello, does anyone from thunder tiger actually look at these comments?

Info on connecting a governor and switch glow is needed, all nitro guys use a governor so basically your unit is pointless on a nitro heli if we are unable to attach a governor to this unit. Lucky I didnt rush out and buy one at least the vbar has a governor built in to it.

Thunder tiger, you may want to keep a track of what customers are saying about your product good or bad. Its called customer service.

Can we see a video of how to assign and connect a governor and switchglow to the imp1 and imp2 ports. I have spektrum satellites connected but cant see in the instructions anything about connecting governors or remote glow switches?
