The Long Horse Ride. 1stOct09. Riding into Tumen on the Great Wall of China, Gansu. Filming the ox cart which is quite unusual in this part of China, when I was nearly boshed by a kamakaze cyclist. (Before I get any more comments about it, I realise I am on the 'wrong' side of the road, but it was a quiet road and safer to give a wide berth to the ox cart - the horse was unused to this sight, and was likely to spook out in front of traffic as I was overtaking. I was right over on the verge and oncoming traffic could see me clearly).

  • YOu were on the wrong side of the road. Learn the bloody traffic rules, dude.

  • @ilvtofku No need to be offensive! And read extra comment in my description. It is a whole different ball game riding a horse on Chinese roads. As I am sure you are aware, most Chinese are quite used to 'going with the flow' as far as traffic is concerned.

  • Woah that was close!

Still you managed to say "blinking hell" - just proves that if in trouble - stay British.
