  • what arena is this?

  • @CanadianDutchman St. Margarets Centre, Tantallon

  • Real rules would have put your son in the penalty box for interference.

But most mothers know nothing about hockey to begin with. All it looked like was a collision.

PS - It's "posession" of the puck. Not "position"

    You from the states?

  • @rp1986 What????? Yes, it's called getting "position" on the puck. Possession (2 s's not 1) is the goal, but in order to get possession, a player must first get "position" on his opponent. I AM Canadian and also a nationally certified Coach BTW. And you're right, most Mothers "know nothing" about hockey. Obviously you're one of them, so hopefully, I've taught you something about our game here today.

  • AT 1:07 look at the clock its like messed

  • @thosam128 It's Novice and we used to run the clock for a full 45 mins instead of breaking it up into three 15 min periods..nice eye though

  • omg Glorin is right!

  • Thats ma boy!

  • @bigmartin0789 "European bullshit" ROFL. Americans should L2P.

  • This video is stupid...it was a clean hit though its America we play American style hockey, not that European bullshit. If someone is skating at you getting ready to hit you then you have every right to hit him, the rules dont say you have to sit there and take a hit because you have the puck and he doesn't.

  • @Glorin You gain "position" in order to gain "possession". You need to gain position on the opposing player in order to "execute" possession. I understand what you are saying but the term "position" applies to different facets of the game. You can passively get possession by receiving a pass, or yo can actively get possession by physically positioning yourself to gain an advantage in order to take the puck.

  • He looks like hes going to be a good hockey player! Hes already keeping his head up and watching where other players are. Now just teach him to use his shoulder and not his elbow haha

  • wow, he actually had good form on that hit! he even had a pretty good follow through and it looked like good contact with the shoulder. It really looks like an NHL headshot in a slower pace and mini - mode. He's gonna be a bruiser
