@Galeglin I totally agree with you! D< It pisses me off how some people can be so unaccepting of people's choice of couples. I love crack! or randomshippings just because there so interesting! I mean I would never have though of Legolas/Eowyn or Legolas/Arwen (I saw this adorable mv of them and I feel in love! XD) if it weren't for this types of mvs! Or stories! Legolas is too good looking for Eowyn. She looks much older than him and elves age very slowly so after some years she would look like his grandmother. Awful! Besides that Legolas is from absolutely different background than her and those two would never go well together and Tolkien new it therefore he gave Eowyn to Faramir who understood and loved her.

I love Legolas and I'm glad Tolkien left him untouched and without any romance.

And really, it is those of you who are so shocked by this pairing that are the ones who aren't involved in the internet LotR fandom.
