This meat-cow farm is located in central Burgundy (France). The cows are kept in the barn because we're in the midst of winter and it's all snow and cold outside, othewise these farm animals spend the rest of the year grazing on the prairies. This is the calving season and most calves are born and going well. the elder farmer tours us around. There's a single bull and he is easily upset (see or listen in the early minutes of the video how he shakes the fence) but I could film him from close before having to retreat at one point...

  • I thought Burgundy produces only wine. I did not know that they produce meat also. Would these cows kick if their teats are squeezed for a little milk for coffee.

  • @parasad125 They make lots of meat cows in Burgundy too, especially in Northern Burgundy where there's less vines. I guess they'd kick...
