Hey Timothywch, I use them all the time for Striper fishing in the NE. My fave would be the 7'2" Medium Heavy or the Heavy if you are throwing big plugs or using live bait. Hey Andrew9454, yes, the Trevalla are much better if all you are doing is jigging. They are not much good for casting.
