Home inspections in Chicago: Shoddy masonry work in Lincoln Park

In late December 2010, Joe Askins met up with home inspector Tom Corbett from Tomacor, Inc., to look at some examples of shoddy construction and home repair on Chicago's North Side.

In the first segment of their walk around Lincoln Park, Tom points out poor and improper masonry construction on homes and garages, where homeowners are already spending too much money on short-lived repairs and are sure to face more expenses in the future.
