Another addition to the home fleet here in the form of a WD Austerity 132 'Sapper'. The loco is here for the rest of 2011 and possibly a little longer. Its strong too, considering its size. 6 coaches behind the drawbar today, this will be a useful addition to the fleet.

  • Great stuff, is 1.36 Irwell Vale ?

  • @kawasaki5187 yes, just on a path at the side of the line going towards stubbins

  • Who owns the Sapper? If you know

  • @MrRyan60 nope, sorry. I know where she was last overhauled, the flour mill, but all i can find further than that is "private owner"

  • Looks a good energetic little Loco

  • @howarth004 certainly is. its put me through my paces already trying to get to photo locations before it arrives. cracking sight and sound nonetheless
