So Close Yet So Far (Chapter 46) (Part One)

guys what's up with the comments?
I don't know why i asked this question cause i tend to anger people by my answer lol. okay, so I've been to Zootopia 3 times, which is a concert of like a bunch of the most popular bands at the time. z100, which is the biggest radio station in New York if you don't know, has two concerts a year, Jingle Ball and Zootopia, so i went to it three time when I was in middle school. JB has been at at least Jingle Ball but when i went it was like way before they were famous. Anyway, so then I went to a Simple Plan concert when I was a freshmen, and Plain White Ts and Paramore were the opening bands (my mom hung out with Plain White Ts it's kinda hilarious, but that's a diff story)
so now the part that's gonna make all of you hate me... I've been to 7 Jonas Brothers concerts. One on Look Me in the Eyes, which my friends dragged me to and that's when I became a fan, and then 6 on Burnin' Up. My friends and I made a summer out of it, it was awesome. we were lucky that they played 3 shows in our home town (at madison square garden) and then we took a bus to Bethel NY (which was a lot farther than we thought it was) and a train to Holmdel NJ, and my dad drove us to Camden NJ. We had so many crazy adventures and have so many crazy stories, but I won't go into them. Let me know if you wanna hear them though lol.

{Nick's P.O.V.}
I was dying of nerves, and it wasn't really helping that I was stuck babysitting Frankie. Joe and Riley had gone to the Coopers', Kevin had disappeared to get someone, who it was he didn't say, and Mom and Dad had 'things to do.' So I was alone with Frankie in the dressing room. The band and the crew weren't even there yet.
"Nick, come play with me!" Frankie shouted from where he was sitting on the couch with a video game controller on his lap. I was sitting across the room on a table, aimlessly playing my guitar.
"Not right now, buddy."
"Why?" he whined.
"I don't feel up to it. I'm a little nervous."
"Why?" he asked again.
"Because someone special is gonna hopefully be at the show tonight."
"Is it Rebecca?"
"Why would you assume that?"
"Cause you like her," he teased.
Great, even my 7 year old brother saw it. "Well, it is Rebecca, but don't say anything."
"Okay." We sat in silence for a minute and then he said, "you know what would take your mind off it?"
"What?"
"Playing video games with me."
I laughed a little. "Don't think so, buddy."
"Ugh fine," he moaned, going back to his game.
Riley, Joe, and Blake walked in. My heart dropped, Rebecca wasn't with them. Blake didn't even look at me. Great, he was mat at me too. Instead he walked over to the couch and sneaked up on Frankie, grabbing him and picking him up.
"Aah! Blake!" Frankie yelled, laughing.
Joe ran over. "Toss him here," he said, so Blake threw Frankie to him. Thank God Mom wasn't here to see this.
"Guys!" Frankie cried as Blake and Joe threw him back and forth singing the hot potato song.
"Did she come?" I asked Riley quietly, getting up and going to her.
"Yes, she didn't wanna come in here, so she's hanging out in the other room. I'm gonna go back in a minute, but I think she's gonna watch the show."
"What if this doesn't work?"
She put her hands on my arms. "Don't worry, it's all gonna work out, okay?"
"I'm just so nervous."
"I know, bud," she said, hugging me.
Then we heard a crash and some screams. When we looked, we saw Joe on the ground with Frankie on top of him. Riley sighed and walked over to them, saying, "See this is why your parents always told you your little brothers weren't your toys."

Wow, you're so lucky to have gone to so many concerts! I've never been yo a concert before, but hopefully I get to go to one when JB come here. (Australia). I've been begging my parents to let me get mosh pit tickets, but they keep looking at each other with a look that says "It's not a good idea", how did you convince your parents?! I hate having a medical condition! (type 1)

well when i was younger an adult always had to go with me and most of them were before i was diagnosed with FM and now that i'm older my parents make it clear that i have to deal with consequences of going to the concert. the SP concert was on a school night (i had to go to school the next day) but the jb concerts have all been during school breaks so basically i know that i'll prob spend a day in bed after. i'm willing to live with that so my parents trust me to know my body and be careful

don't worry. i don't know how old you are, but the older you get and the more you prove yourself able to take care of yourself and your medical condition, the more your parents will trust you to do things. the first concert i went to that had general admission i was 15. the first one i went to without a parent i was 17. there are perks of growing up and earning ur parents trust lol

WOW, you've been to a lot of concerts...haha i've been to two, that seems to like none compared to you! and i didn't get to meet them anything, I'm only 13 though, so I still have some more years to catch up!!! lol, my friend and i almost talked our parents into bringing us on a three hour drive, on a school night, to see Panic At The Disco, like two months ago...but we didn't go :(

haha yeah it was outside, and since we were already sick we were so miserable, and at that point we had seen the concert 3 or 4 times so we knew when they were supposed to come out. plus we had lawn seats and since we had to take the bus we were just barely there in time so we were all the way in the back and me and my friend since we were the most sick at that point were just sitting there dying and then my friend went for a walk and found really good spots so it ended up being pretty awesome

haha yeah i died cause i was sitting on the stairs at one point and JB was behind me then during the commercial, they were going backstage, and i felt someone touching my back, but i kinda assumed it was the person behind me's knee cause we were so close, and then i see Kevin walk by and i realize it was him and then i had like a 2 minute convo with Nick during a break. they talked to us a little besides that like "nice sign" and stuff but not much. my friend got to sit next to nick though.

OMG!! OURS WENT SUPER LONG TOO!!!

was your outdoors, cause the one we went to was outdoors so they didn't come out when they were supposed to, so we had to wait until it got dark, but we didn't get back hoome until 3:00 AM and we were still all crazy and yellling PIRATES and NINJAS out the car, case we had to go back to where we live, get gas cause that was the closest gas station and then go all the way back to the arena and get my friends car and then drive home again
