We'll be getting this pretty soon here in Denver. Scripps bought KMGH and other stations from McGraw-Hill. This would be better than what's being currently used.

They've cheapened the looks of all stations with this poor excuse of a graphic package.
WXYZ 7 in Detroit had the best graphics of the group before they all went with this look.
Best news music, too.
Urgent, and breaking.
Now it's just another TV station.

the music is interesting, a really interesting sonic brand. I think that the set definitely needs to be refreshed. During the newscast it doesn't look too bad... but the wide shots during the close show that it's kinda dated. The graphics are meh. not my fav. I don't understand the lines/dots in the open. it's like er?

okay so at first I didn't like the music but now it's grown on me. BUT I hate the idea that all of the stations had to take on this same shitty look! The graphics are crap! They dont fit with WEWS or WXYZ.

at 1:23 ... the video paused before it played...you could see the reporter doing his countdown...and it looks like the reporter was shooting his own standup and interview. Total crap.

Scripps needs to do HD sets for a lot of its stations...not just this one. Seems that most Scripps stations have had the same sets for 5+ years now! WPTV here in South Florida has had the same set since 2000.

I quite enjoy the new Scripps graphics and music actually, though I do think there should have also been a blue version (for the stations with blue logos). I really like the closing cut WEWS used here too!

I think the set looks just fine. Better than fine, actually. Fits well with the graphic look. By far the best execition of the new Scripps package out there.

Haha there is a typo in the first part of the "Cleveland Public Power" promo - there's no extra "r" on the end.
