i lived in N.D. for 5 years,
try driveing a taxi in -60 degree weather!
why not minot? it get's tooo f-ing cold thats why!

You can all bitch about being stationed in North Dakota but at least you know after a few years you will be going someplace else. The rest of us are stuck here!! Born and raised! God save our souls!!!!!

@mike184ever1 If a job is what you're looking for, North Dakota is a great place to be... it's one of the last places in America where you can have a working class job with middle class pay. If you work in the oil fields, you can make VERY good money but you work long hours in horrible conditions.
Honestly, work in an oil field for a little bit and go to school. Idk how anyone can make that job a career. Also, college in N. Dakota is rather easy to get into and relatively cheap.

I live in So.Cal. cant get a job willed to me. Its Labor Day 2011 the No.Dakota boom is looking good to me. Have wool and an Astro Van, will travel.
