Just a short song I made to fool around with the strings sound on my Privia PX330 for the first time. I know zero about strings accompaniment so this is no official test. Video is a bit out of sync.

  • have been researching the casio line and have pretty much settled on the 330. your demo was helpful but would like to know if you had your foot on the damper pedal the entire time. i tend to overuse sustain and that seemed to be the case in your demo. do the strings require it?

  • @wswonder I have been quite happy with the 330 overall, but I am very much an amateur so I may not realize the limitations. For piano sounds I find you can keep the damper pedal down and the sound doesn't tend to sustain as long as I would like. For the strings sound though it definitely becomes overwhelming if you keep the pedal down.
