In this movie the structure of the antibody is shown by coloring the different chains, red and pink are the heavy chains that are responsible for activating an immune response, where the blue and green are the light chains. The part of them that is closest to the edge is the antigen binding region. By having the antigen binding region on the tip on both ends of the "Y" it can be highly variable to bind to a wide variety of pathogens, while preserving the function of the rest of the molecule.
