A comedy of wordplay and misunderstanding, People Like Us could be a metaphor for life, in that, while the protagonist is an idiot, everyone else is a bigger idiot - Mallard's questions are usually sensible yet misinterpreted."

@jenzeppelin Well remembering well the British hysteria machine I am doubtful. On a different note. I still listen to bbc7 on the net as I now live in the USA. I love radio comedy. On the Hour, the original Boosh, I may be mad, but I somehow prefer it to TV. I must be getting old lol. I am starting to relate to Ed Reardon.

i am delighted to find other fans of the series. i will definitely post series 2 and 3 if you'd like. i find that some of the most brilliant episodes are in the later seasons. i will definitely have a look at your recommendations. thanks for sharing, and, watching...or in the case of these partciular videos, listening... :)
