My Richard Petty Ride-Along Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway.

Heres the story of what happened. I am one of the biggest NASCAR fans, every week, I was every race, when there is one, so my mom thought it was a good idea to get me to see, what its like in race car, so my mom bought me the Richard Petty Ride-Along Experience and we had this scheduled on April 6, 2009 at Disney World Speedway. So this is what I saw and how I was in the car. It was a little wierd because I was in a way, hanging on for most of the time, but regardless of what happened, I had an amazing time. I will most likily answer most of your question if you have any about this ride along or what I thought or whatever.

Q: Does the Richard Petty Experience use the COT?
A: Yes

Q: What car you riding in?
A: I'm a Jeff Gordon Fan, so I felt so evil when I rode in the 18 car of Kyle Busch sponsored by M&Ms.

Q: What kind of car was it? (Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Toyota?)
A: I really didnt look, I was very excited about doing this, so I'm just guessing, if they completely copied the Busch car, it was a toyota but I can't be sure.

Q: What was the track like?
A: The track was very different, when I was in the car, I felt like there was no grip and there were a lot of bumps.

Hi, I was actually wanting to do this for my fiance and I this coming weekend.... Do you get the video of you riding in the car free or does it cost extra? Or was there anything additional you had to pay for? Sorry, I want to be prepared, they dont have much info on costs on their website. THANKS!

i went to drive the indy car but was too early, so ended up driving the nascar lol. Was immense but I hated having the open face visor with the open window, my eyes kept watering.

I did this back in 2004 & it was INTENSE, BIG time. I was the only English guy that day to do it & I got a plaque with a picture of me in the car, It was brilliant, I would love to do it again but at Daytona, Bristol or Talledega, it was THE best $103 I've ever spent

I did a 16 lap run and a ride along at this very track back in 2001. Best time of my life, even though I'm no stranger to a race car myself. I run on dirt though. If anyone ever gets the chance to do this, don't pass it up. You'll regret it forever.
