ok... , but first, what is the base, the source thought that says " aliens are just as violent as we are. " ???
then, consider that, there are "aliens"(other world life forms), that are WAY more violent, cruel and relentless than ourselves... but as we do, not allowed to interact with any other "thinking" aliens...
i love star wars and all that... but, the universe is ONE, and it consumes itself to survive, but War and individuality are primitive animal beings first lesson/test.

actually 9k year ago, there were humans who were "vessels" , a few ones, sent here, born unaware of this, just recovered most logical-neural arrays later , after 30 years of age, and helped mankind in many ways,
from technology to meditation...

one thing is for sure, no 1000, 5000 years more advanced civilization are going to land here...
as we are considered "babies" ,
no "teen" civilization is allowed to contact us,
and no adult civilization want to... other than the ones looking for us,
and those, are "mid-age to elder" civilizations.
this implies 30k -300k years of existance...
no numbers i say are accurate, just kindda lucid dreams showed me something like this. (crazy or not, its not ur life to fear/judge)
