'Dibit 2', the huge expansion project of San Raffaele Biomedical Science Park, will be completed before the end of 2007.

A total of 74.000 square meters of new laboratory space, meeting rooms, education facilities and classrooms, for an investment of around 125.000.000 €, will allow to San Raffaele Biomedical Science Park to double the space dedicated to both fundamental and industrial research; Vita-Salute San Raffaele Univerisity will improve its education and training capabilities while the diagnostics activities will be expanded in terms of service to hospitals and research.

A new hotel, a residence for students, a kindergarten for employees' children (including tenants) are also under construction on site.
The development projects also include the future availability of the 'Blue Gene' super computer.

Io sono un paziente dal 1986 e in questi anni l'ho visto praticamente triplicare nelle dimensioni delle strutture e nell'affluenza.

Quello che si vede in superfice è solo una piccola parte, è impressionante il movimento che si trova nei suoi piani sotterranei (sopratutto ambulatori e servizi.)
