Next they'll be saying that kids shouldn't be allowed to run during recess....... Oh wait, some schools already don't.
Fuck safety, give your kid scissors and tell the little fucker to run a marathon, it'll make for one hell of a story.

Hicks rule. Looks alot safer than riding a bike in a neighborhood. Way too many helicopter parents out there hovering over their kids. People like that are the reason why this country is going soft. Buck up and stop whining.

Careless? Go fuck off. I'm not a 'hick' but i understand that your over exaggerating. They fall 1 1/2 - 2 feet into loose dirt. Neither sheep nor child gets hurt. The only cases of injury is when the kid accidentally gets trampled which is less than a 5% chance. They also wear protective gear, Helmets, pads.. etc.

Figures, a hick wouldn't have any knowledge of MOMENTUM... so pathetic. Did you finish high school? If he lands the wrong way, with that kind of momentum there could be severe spinal cord injury, broken bones wouldn't be out of the question either. Regardless, rednecks are the only type of people who would recklessly endanger their children like this. That, or people like you who never took elementary physics in college/high school.

Example 1: Sheep speeds up to 6 miles an hour, kid falls off into soft dirt w/ pads. Kid lives w/o injury. Example 2: Sheep speeds up to 10 miles an hour, Kid; yet again, falls into soft dirt w/ pads. Kid lives w/o injury. Buddy, not one case is there where a child has broken his spinal cord, or damaged it severely doing Mutton Bustin'. My last example, Skateboarding, snowboarding, biking, swimming for Christs sake, is more dangerous than this. If you don't believe me look at statistics.

And what makes me a 'Hick'? I'm sure its better than someone who has problems leaving his computer, I don't have to add a 3 in my youtube account name as a substitute. for an e. FYI, I've finished grades k - 12 and 4 years of Gonzaga University. I majored in Engineering Management.

Geeze. Research shows that if kids engage in "dangerous" activities they're better adjusted as adults... listen to any 50+ y/o reminisce and they'll talk about broken bones and climbing trees and cattle tipping...

It's only a foot and a half of a drop... doesn't hurt. This comes from someone who busted for fun ONLY and therefore never had a helmet or body protection.

LOL at the fucking idiots talking about responsible parenting. Yep. What a shame it is to have their kids riding sheep in a rodeo.

Funny thing is, it's safer than high school football.
