@BrainsForViral PS - this is not to say that I wouldn't have loved it when I was little, because I would have. It would have been irresponsible for any adult to have let me, however. Responsible adults don't let kids do dangerous things, even if the kids would enjoy them. It's called "parenting."

@QueenSnowballa, your arguments are both non sequiturs. You are ignoring my point about training. Horses & adults aren't analogous to sheep & children. Kids ride horses, with training, by experts, in extremely controlled circumstances. To my original point, any horse that a child would ride is a domesticated animal that has been trained to accept riders. This training offsets the size and strength. It's still dangerous, and cruel, just not quite as reckless. Trees are entirely beside the point.
