Bored one rest day, we decided to rope jump off Taipan wall, april '09. Anchor 2 bolts and some wires, two climbing ropes, one unweighted (backup). Free fall ~40meters. To the ground is ~70meters. Old Climbing ropes, mates work harness, some green silk and blue fur, total cost $5.00.

That was really cool + really fun...right up until the vandalism at the end. Rolling boulders off Taipan is fucking lame.

Gday, edge was ok, had a canvas rope protector, a hoodie and a tarp under the rope. Ropes are several years old but still good to climb on. Get amongst it mate, heaps of fun.
