The Dennis dustcart I drive at work. (part 1)

Out on part of our round just before Christmas,(23 / 12 / 09). This dustcart was new at the beginning of the summer and is a beautiful vehicle to drive. The video starts with the dustcart in the car park at Le Hocq and then at Green Island with me in my Christmas hat driving and my work mate getting in the passenger side! The next part is on board starting at the Dicq slip and driving west through Havre des Pas,over Mount Bingham ,up along Commercial Buildings, through the under pass and along Victoria Avenue as far as La Motte Ford at Millbrook

Great video guys - please do more: maybe showing the lorry doing what it does best! It looks and sounds like a good lorry - if you ever decide to have a second loader then Id jump at the chance!

Thanks for your comments,I work for The States of Jersey which is like a council in England , they have two of these lorries,1 for doing the east of the Island & 1 for the west. We just do the public bins in coastal carparks, proms and general beauty spots. This time of the year we only go out on them twice a week, the rest of the time we go on the crew cab pickup trucks. I will try to get some film of loading and tipping etc but it might not be for a couple of weeks.
