if jay-z or any rap star rap's about a brand it means it is no longer cool and has become main stream. martin margie is not a designer i associate with rappers. Louis vuitton does have a tacky image when it comes to bags and if comepared to music would be considered as pop music . there bags are not avante garde in anyway. however, recently they have manage to shake of the tacky image due to sucess of clothing line.
louis vuitton is far bigger than jay z or any other temporary pop bullshit... marc Jacobs has refreshed part of the brand to keep it popular with a very small select group... but the people who have been buying and collecting it for decades know what its really about... a company with a vivid beautiful story and unsurpassed quality. There are people (hoodrats) who buy it because they think it makes them look hot...and then there are the people that it was designed for... i.e. Classic people.....
aww. agreed! i used to have one...but some bad events occured and It's lost somewhere...=\ sort of saddening, but it was an object..not a person. though I've lost a lot of those, also. I hope you get yours! I really do. Hope everything's going well.
why dont you peolple listen to rap? vuitton is no doubt qualtiy baller goods. but when people like jay-z (forbes billionaire for those who dont kno) rap about wearing martin margelia(hermes designer) you kno thats whats hott at them time. Vuitton comes off more baller cause thats what people see and kno
I always wanted something from LV, but even if I did save up, my parents wouldn't let me buy anything from there. They think it's a waste of money. xD
