If You Bankrupt A Company, Do You Still Deserve A Bonus?

Why did the media attack AIG and not Lehman Brothers? Just because AIG got a bailout doesn't mean they are more liable for handing out huge bonuses. And Lehman brothers bonuses are mre than 2 BILLION, and AIG only gave out 100million in bonuses.

I can understand how not doing a bailout might hurt stockholders and employees and consequently the economy but they could at least require that if there's a bailout the voting stockholders vote away the administration and the new administration replaces some key decision-makers. If that were a condition to get aid maybe that would deter future deciders from screwing up.

Some patriot person should have guts or balls to investigate (serious investigation of course not just show off)and prosecute these thieves. I agree that's the robbery of all times!They are not afraid since all law enforcements seemed to be silenced..from head to toe..

Exactly correct. This bailout, and the 5 years that preceded it, are the largest theft in the history of mankind, sanctioned by, and facilitated by, the people in charge.

This is not just political yammering, and just voting for Democrat won't fix it.

The system is more than broken, it is utterly corrupt, and real people are now suffering in order for these 'bankers' to buy their 4th or 5th home, or their yacht, while the retired elderly living on dividends are now starving.

It is inhuman.
