how much video time could u get on o say a 2 gig memory card. that's the only scary thing. its hd wouldn't it take up a lot of space.

It does only 25 FPS! on 1920 x 1080 resolution! And yes, interleaced! That's the best it can do. So moving objects and camera pan doesn't look smooth. Camera native AVCHD format still uncommon in video players and editors. Included HD Writer software for windows plain sucks, like a cheap and dirty hack. It allows exporting recorded 1920x1080 AVCHD into 720x576 MPG as its best. I think class action sout is appropriate for misadvertisement.
