Terraria 1.1 Skeletron Prime Solo, Adamantite Gear

Skeletron Prime is not too difficult to solo, as long as you have around 60+ defense, can cause enough damage to kill him in one night, and are reasonably quick. This is relatively simple even with items not farmed from the hardmode bosses. I'm sure more skilled players could do this fight with even less gear; with reasonable quickness, most of his attacks can be dodged (although I wasn't too successful in that), as long as enough damage can be dealt. I got pretty lucky finishing mere seconds before dawn. If you have something even spammier and stronger (like megashark or flamethrower), you should be able to kill him even quicker. I just think the clockwork rifle is classier.

Gear used:

Adamantite melee armor set (for defense rating and movement speed buff; +46 defense)
Warding Cross necklace (dropped by mimics; increases on-hit temporary invulnerability; +4 defense)
Warding Angel Wings (crafted; temporary flight, +4 defense)
Warding Obsidian Shield (combine obsidian skull and cobalt shield; immunity to knockback and fire blocks, +6 defense)
Warding Ranger Emblem (dropped by Wall of Flesh; +15% ranged damage, +4 defense)
Warding Spectre Boots (combine hermes boots and rocket boots; allows fast running and longer flight, +4 defense)

For a total of: 68 defense. Probably didn't need this much; also don't need Warding affixes on all the accessories if you can't afford all the reforging; can probably substitute with Ironskin potions (+8 defense, cheaper and easier to get). Regen, swiftness, and night owl potions are probably also useful.

Weapon: Rapid Clockwork Assault Rifle, dropped by Wall of Flesh, plus about 2000 silver bullets (crystal or cursed may work better). Important: Greater Health Pots are extremely helpful! Especially if your defense is on the lower end; also you could replace one of your accessories with a Philosopher's Stone (reduces cooldown for health pot usage) for increased survivability.

its looking like a VERY long fight with normal skeletron... next with all three bosses? ( exageration )

You can defeat skeletron prime and twins easy without buffs with adamantite set and good eq like obsidian shield luckyhorse shoe cross necklace phelosipher stone and any of the boosting boots or wings.But destroyer is a little bit hard cause you will need to use buffs and as a weapon use Crystal storm spell for destroyed.

I recomand you to kill first destroyer then make mega shark and kill the rest of the bosses with the mega shark :D
