My horse has figured how to lock me in the feed room by moving over the bolts and operating the kick bolt at the bottom. Then she looks in at the slatted window. I can just see her beady eyes grinning at me. She was taught this by an old blind horse who used to drive her into her stable then close the door and bolt it. She did it because she was fed up with being bitten on the bum by her. I thought that was funny. Now I have to take precautions to prevent me being locked in!

why dpont u get a kickbolt coz then she could still see out n stuff!

Horses are natural problem solvers so I would make sure she can't do that. You should invest in a lock on the bottom of the stall

my horse figured out the chains on the gates... the person i board my horse with had the entire herd in her yard when she came home... horses are just too smart sometimes...
or I could just shut the top door of the stall....
