I remember when it was announced that James would release a solo album. I couldn't wait, having been such a fan of his songs with the Pumpkins. Got it when it came out and it has aged so well - it doesn't sound like a late 90s album at all, it's sort of timeless. Pop, romantic, laidback well-crafted songs. I see this record at the library all the time, no one seems to pick it up it's a shame. I never found his "be strong now" single, so I don't have the b-sides...:/

This is a really nice song. Let It Come Down is excellent because it's honest. it doesn't waste time with rock god posturing, just simple, honestly, nice songs.
