Have you tried getting some wire-wrap wire to solder a new junction? They use it all the time to fix mistakes on PCBs. It may work in your situation too. You could always post a video of your device and show where the connection is broke. Just post it here as a reply video and I will approve it so others can see it and possibly help you too.

@sophtware WoW.. $25 for the vise? So what does it come with? Vise, components place holder, and base??? Your invention is very useful for SMT components. I like how the place holder act as a fouth hand. So if I decided to get one from you, how do I sent out payment? *EDIT* Nevermind, it show information at the end of the video. LoL >.<

Hello.
You know where I can buy here in Brazil? Entered the site of the manufacturer but this unit does not have the support that helps keep the chip stopped in order to make the weld as shown in the video, this scheme you invented or came when you bought?

Where can you get it in the uk ??

nice idea - but the thing I always had trouble with is being able to SEE. So i'm working on a camera that can be moved by 'helping hands'. Has anyone else done this?

Ingenious
The vise is from PanaVise, which I don't sell or include. You can buy a PanaVise from many hobby stores, Fry's Electronics, or order it online from Amazon or PanaVise. The tool I developed is an add-on to an existing PanaVise and acts as a helping hand for mounting small surface mount components. Boards completed with the Stinger look professionally soldered when finished. I accept PayPal if you're still interested.

This is an invention that I came up with to help with some projects I was working on. I had 100 units manufactured as a test and am selling them over the internet via YouTube. I don't know what the cost is to ship to Brazil, but I would be happy to send one that way for $25 plus whatever the shipping charge is. Where are you located?
