Sugar is not trained at all...I just loved him half to death and he turned out great!

@SamatranTiger, there is no such thing as an american budgie, budgies are native to australia, so they are all australian budgies! WHY DO AMERICANS THINK THEY CAN JUST GO AROUND CHANGING THE NAMES OF OTHER COUNTRIES NATIVE ANIMALS TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY ARE FROM AMERICA!!!

Any good owner of Budgerigars (that is, those who have done their research prior to owning these birds) know that they are native to Australia. Unfortunately, They have been termed "American" or "English" to distinguish between the two most common varieties present today.
Therefore, you cannot assume that everyone who calls a budgie 'American" or "English" is referring to them as being native to either of those places or trying to make others believe that.

The dimensions of the cage (excluding the stand) are approx. 32 x 21 x 35 inches (Length x Width x Height).
