The prologue from Sophocles' Trachiniae (Women of Trachis), translated and read (ahem) dramatically by Keyne Cheshire. A worried Deanna Kilman (Deianira in the original Greek) relates the vicissitudes of fortune she's experienced since she was a girl, but focuses in particular on her present predicament.
