The Truth Behind Bravo Two Zero. A couple of years before the 2003 Iraq Invasion, Michael Asher (Ex-Para/23 SAS) went to Iraq to try and uncover the truth behind the infamous Bravo Two Zero mission of the Gulf War.
If you enjoyed this video I recommend buying and reading the book from the same title, which goes into a lot more detail.
Ironic - I have more respect for the Iraqis and less for the SAS after watching this.

@W0KD I think that you have to put things in perspective. The Persian Gulf War wasn't one where everyone hated the US or the UK. It started because Saddam invaded Kuwait. These villagers had no choice in the matter. Iraq isn't a democracy. I'm sure some locals even hated Saddam. So there really isn't much reason for normal civilians to beat the SAS. Of course once the Iraqi military were involved I imagine the treatment got much worse. But why is someone giving them tea so crazy?

well everything seems to be exactly as described in the books - he followed their precise coords and everybody he stumbles upon can confirm they passed thru - only thing differs are the outcome.. so who do you believe.. personally it seems like the books are correct - maybe exapperated but I would never believe they were given tea when they were captured.. come on.. and micheal asher... it's clear he wants to discredit the patrol
