Originally released by The Shadows in 1962, and went to no.1 in the UK for nine weeks (!) and spent about 6 months in total in the charts. This Live performance is by The Evening Shadows in London 2004. This line up includes the late Wayne Nicholls (Rhythm), Alan Jones (Bass), John Tuck (Drums), & Chas de Lacy (Lead).
This clip is dedicated to the memory of Wayne and his wife Jackie, and though the quality of this amateur footage is not very good, hopefully it can be enjoyed anyway. http://www.cliffandtheshadowstribute.com and http://www.myspace.com/theeveningshadows
Wow, Great!
Backing instruments are very good, but the lead..
It's really magical! Sound almost the same as Hank in the famous 60's studio & live recordings
(I mean on that powerfull metal sound and positive energy (vibes) that was trademark
in the Frightened city, Gonzales, Shadoogie.
What could I say? Brilliant
If I close my eyes, listening to your playing, it's like I'm on The Shads. concert in '61-'64 period.

Thanks - I love this music, and I still find it as exciting as I did when I was young! I enjoy trying to play it with the same passion and feeling as the originals.
