@krb0123 a lot of people (and strongmen) will tell you to go continuously with a bounce... i personally like to "reset" for each pull.

I fell in love with dead lifts today. Your video series was great education for me. Also I like your attitude on becoming the strongest version of yourself. It really has inspired me a lot and definately made me get closer to the strongest me!

Hey Elliott,, Having problem with lower back pain.. its stopping me from deadlifting heavy/squatting etc. Ive been doing alot of stretching on the hip/back extensor/glutes.. alot of foam rolling. its on the right side of the lower back. What would you say be the best thing to get my self strong again,, I miss being able to lift heavy. Any tips would be most helpful!

U seem really intelligent in the science of workouts....i know a dead lift will increase mass and strength in legs, but can it increase your vertical for athletic sports?

a couple questions,
how are we supposed to know a "20 degree bend in the knees"
when we get our feet under the bar, is until our shins touch the bar a good hip height?

@Kevin3310 the best way is to get a coach who understands the dead lift.

I am pretty new to deadlifting and i wonder: is there any problems to start deadlifting while still recovering from a torn/reconstructed ACL? the knee that i have a problem with is not stable to the point where i want it, but i feel that sooner or later i need to get in to shape, and i found a routine where you need to deadlift and squat a lot instead of running to get in shape

@bjoli198 i really cant say... i would probably wait until healed, but if you saw my torn biceps videos you'd say that im full of it :)
