@DaveWreckingCrew the cops, paramedicas, and fire department have the right away to run red lights. All they have to do is slow down, make shure no cars are coming, and then just speed through.

Here's a tip for OWS protesters.
It is a felony for officers to hide or even refuse to show a badge. If they don't have a badge, you can arrest them (citizen's arrest) for posing as an officer. It happens often here in California. Remember, undercover cops are required to wear the badge on their outter garment, even while wearing normal clothing. (Kinda defeats the purpose of being undercover, but the law is the law)
