Boy Scout Troop 205 - 50 Mile Hike on the John Muir Trail

This is a video of our troop's big 50 mile hike on the John Muir Trail in the Big South Fork. It was an awesome experience and really built character (and cramps).

If a scout does something embarrassing in camp, it would get a uniform response. If you want to ge rid of a scout, don't tell him to take a hike. If a scout goes on a long hike, does he get a tenderfoot? If a scout passes gas, that would be a rank fart.

@RondelayAOK You can say all you want, but it is pretty evident Hitler considered himself a Roman Catholic. Just do a quick google search. I'm not sure if he hated the church or not, but he did believe in the Judeo-Christian "God."

@RobertLuongDick This is something frequently said of Hitler, particular by anticatholics. However, it's clear he hated all Christian denominations as a challenge to his power, particularly the Catholic Church. That's the reason for the concordat.

@RobertLuongDick Hitler was a nutjob. There is no way he was a Christian. I don't care about what he said; his actions spoke louder than his words. A true Christian would never persecute Jews or murder that many people. To be quite I really don't believe that most politicians and leaders are Christian.

Proven fact: Politician = Liar. If you know your base is majority Christian wouldn't it be stupid to run as anything else? I don't maybe I'm wrong. Unfortunately I guess I'll never really know.

And what I was refering to is your belief that Boy scouts is equal to Al Queda.

@bsamendotatroop I already think scouting is a good thing. I just replied with all that crap to your comments because I have an issue with the BSA hypocrisy and with the belief that we need religion to keep people moral. Religion was useful back in the day when nobody knew anything about sh!t. Now that we have a greater understanding of our reality, I don't think religion is necessary anymore because it dismisses reality and embraces authority and delusion.

@bsamendotatroop Also, Hitler was a hardcore Roman Catholic. Don't believe me? Go read Mein Kampf. The book is filled with passages about how he is doing the Lord's work by 'defending' himself against The Jew. I don't believe morality is based upon law. At least not the basics (don't murder, steal, lie, etc.) If you think about it from a Darwinian perspective, these basic moral codes are actually 'programmed' into our brains back during the caveman era.

@bsamendotatroop I don't really get what you're saying here. I just gave you statistical evidence that the rate of atheists going to prison is much lower than that of Christians going to prison. I think it's pretty clear that one can infer from this that a higher percentage of Christians engage in criminal activity than atheists. Even if your data is correct, the difference in percentages of religious and nonreligious inmates is astounding.
