Def Leppard's Hysteria - Guitar Lesson

A quick guitar lesson on how to play Def Leppard's Hysteria. I'm not a professional instructor, and this lesson is not exact.

Here are some general guidelines to get the sound:
-Keep the preamp (gain) low.
-Lots of chorus
-Maybe a bit of flanger also.
-A bit of delay and a bit more reverb
-If you have a compressor pedal (or effect on your amp) - use it! It will make your notes 'pop'.
-Amp: Turn bass down, mids just under half way, treble up a bit.
-Single coil pickups will give you much more transparent sound.

These are just general guidelines and every amp and effect is different.

I can't give exact settings because every amp/effect is different.

If you look in the description, you'll see some general guidelines to help get the sound.

It's not A tuning. I'm just giving you an open A (5th string) to tune to. It's standard tuning.

I can't get the strumming down just right, sure wish I could see more of your strumming hand. But, I think youve pretty much got it and taught it to alot of us out here. Thank You Brother

Looking back, it would have been a good idea to show the entire guitar during the last few minutes of the video so that people could see the picking hand.

@DaniGarciaMusic i used the middle and bridge picks use a very clean effect maybe with a little bit of delay. that should get you there
