You dont need a rubber band to do that. Its called bump fire. All you do is use the recoil to bounce your finger off the trigger really fast.

@John8934 the tax is $200 and always has been. In 1934, $200 was about 4 times the cost of a thopmson machine gun and quite a bit of money. Now, it's really not much at all. What makes them toys for the rich are the price tags on the weapons themselves. $20k is not exatly pocket change.
