This was a project assigned by Professor Stromberg for his 3D Design class at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The objective was to build an aesthetically pleasing piece that could stand 25 pounds of weight and was at least 18 niches tall. The projects could only be made using [regular] spaghetti and hot glue. After the projects were critiqued in class we held a weight testing, where we were encouraged to see how much our projects would withstand. Because spaghetti loses its structural stability when exposed to moisture, the humidity in the air would eventually cause these projects to fall apart anyways. Mine wound up holding the most in our class :)
Special thanks to my lovely assistant Danica :) and Jamied for being the camera man ! ( seeing as my camera failed to record...)
Five times exceeding the goal l!! Awesome engineering and aesthetics; look out Imagineers; here comes your future competition.
