So why have you abandoned the idea of containment for TvP? Was there just too much warp-prism stuff going on?

@cael87 I dont like to do it unless I'm ahead... like after I kill their expo and don't want to risk going up the ramp, I use the contain like a killing blow. With equal footing, there are too many ways for protoss to abuse the fact that my army is not at my base. Splitting my army to deal with all scenarios will leave me weak at both fronts.

@BFGfreak Well, the PF build gets me ahead vs aggression but behind vs a toss FE. Meta-game these days and lack of close spawns makes aggression (like 4gate) less common. But mostly I was sick of late-game battles. I felt like if i do everything perfect, I can slightly win a battle. If I do one thing wrong, my army just evaporates and the game is over. I already used the 10minute timing with my PF FE. Now I just commit everything to making the 10min push as powerful as possible.

@cirkic Before toss gets aoe, bio is pretty powerful. Although most 1-base terran openers prefer the 1/1/1 build for more high tech units in the 10min timing push. You can expo before you push too, so you aren't required to do crippling damage when you 10min push, but then your army will be that much weaker. Basically, you have to be ahead of toss going into the mid-game or you're in for a rough game.
