May, do you have any details concerning their storyline in America now that America owns their rights?

@matt4hoos I don't know more than you all do. A production company has bought the rights to their story, but I haven't heard anything about any specific plans/actors/filming schedule.

Wonder what Thore means at 3:37 when he says in the translation talking about kissing another guy and his family' s reaction...."you always think they will react more because of the sense of shame you have". ???

@Kellytomcat Sorry, I haven't seen your question before...

IMO Thore means that it's always difficult to see yourself being intimate with somebody on TV, so you almost expect others, esp. your family, to react more to it/ expect them to be uncomfortable. I think most people wouldn't feel comfortable to have their parents watching them making out, even if it's just fake.

Thanks MM for sharing. They both are so gorgeous. And Jo's eyes ! Just like two emeralds ....

And you can feel the connection between them. A real frendship that can be seen when they're acting. It's really great.

not all shows need an American adaptation. they should just bring this show over with English voice overs like they do in anime. i do think one of the better "remakes" of a foreign TV show is Queer as Folk. i'm not sure this show though would make it without Thore and Jo.

I always half-expect Thore to grab Jo's hand, or Jo to lean in for a kiss when I watch these two in interviews. They are just so much like their characters its scary.

Thanks again May for the second part of this interview with Thore and Jo. Loved how they included the boxing scene kiss the look on there faces but they have been working together for three years now. I hope that Verbotene Liebe just stays in Germany where it belongs I know its a huge compliment to the both of them and their story its my opioion. I am glad that they have there own hobbies and something they love away from their characters and Verbotene thanks again May your an angel..

I like the idea of a Chrolli love story in the US, but without Thore and Jo it would not be the same.

All best things aren't american and they have tried with other shows but haven't always worked. German TV came up with a winner and no two guys are going to capture the chemistry between these two.... I like the original and long may it be on top.
