wow.. where is your glove on your hand.. eyepro? load at lay postition? chief ate up or what. gunner not calling lay light lit, no warning messages verify? 1l is lame.. but i know precautions are critical. you prime after gunner verifies no warning messages. make a fist and ram that damn round like you mad at the dude fucking your woman when your over seas. i hand ram every round manually.. its faster btw.. imo. lots of bad stuff here... any future bravos should not study this vid LOL

Dear Fellow Gun-bunnies: I was with the 6thBattalion/32nd Artillery Group "Proud Americans" in a place called Viet-Nam in 1969. I was an NCO candidate at Ft. Sill for 4 months. I was trained on the 105mm, 155mm, 175mm AND the 8" guns. In Viet-Nam, our fire missions were every day! sometimes 2 or 3 times. Wet,rain, heat, fog, mud everywhere, hard to climb on the gun to shoot, sometimes NO pnuematics to push the shell in the breech. We did it with a pole. It took about 1 minute to fir an 8'' round.

damn this crew shoots slow and that number 1 man never swabbed till after the last round, not very safe but they were effective
bigfritz11 6 months ago
@bigfritz11 this was a all new crew and the number 1 mans first time ever doing it besides basic. speed comes with practice and experience. not sure if you are FA but if you are than you should know that. not trying to start a fight or anything but get tired of people who have never shot a howitzer or even served criticizing the guys that do the job. most crews do not swab after each round unless the tube is hot. it takes up too much time. I am now a chief. Ill post vid of my crew shooting fast
