  • I have to agree Ubuntu 11.4 turned out to be a bad Turn.I found it to be complicated and hard to work around the new look of it. I agree about it hiding your tool bar and your work. after I updated to 11.4 and hours of missing around and understanding its ways I finally decided to go back to 10.10. 10.10 had no problems. It never crashed it was fast and reliable. Why change and upgrade.

After watching this video I took a look at Kubuntu and I say im going to stick to Ubuntu 10.10

  • @chrisfur2 yup yup--go daddy = opposite philosophy of linux...boo go daddy! I don't care if you reverse your stance on SOPA--never forgive...never forget.

  • I can get past unity but i really miss having my app menus and a nice dock on the bottom

  • go daddy supports SOPA. so i left as soon as i saw go daddy.

  • lol at white snoop dogg

  • LOL, I would hate to be a guest on this show. You would hardly get a word in.

  • unity has ruined Ubuntu customisation :( Even screen-savers has been removed :'(

  • I prefer the stock KDE that Kubuntu uses. But why go Kubuntu over e.g. openSuse? Well, package management mostly. They do also update via backports quickly to bleeding edge stuff, where most other distros don't.
