TRANSCRIPT:

AUDIENCE MEMBER: Congressman again, on water, [inaudible] asks 'one third of Florida Residents get their daily water supply from the Everglades. How are you working to promote Everglades restoration projects?

ALLEN WEST: Um, very simple. Not just Everglades restoration projects, but beach re-nourishment projects because that is also part of our tourism industry as well as the Everglades. I have to tell you, I think Michele Bachmann said something that was an incredible faux-pas yesterday when she mentioned the possibility of looking for energy resources out in the Everglades and so when I see her next week, I'll straighten her out about that.
