I try to insist that if my students are just learning cell culture that they do NOT wear gloves. It gives better control over their fine motor skills.

wear gloves.....however Indians usually eat food by hand, no wonder if they don't wear gloves

We were just practising using explants, however you are right, using gloves would yield better results.
