I still think its a bit crazy to kill innocents in a war no matter the greater good. The people who do not have Christ were all sent to Hell. Before we send them to hell (by killing them I know they sinned themselves) why didn't they get a chance for the Gospel. "Love your enemy's" far from it these days.

Unfortunately, your comment implies that God is less than sovereign. No one goes to hell because they didn't get a "chance" to hear the gospel. They go to hell because they have broken God's Law. And everyone God sovereignly and graciously chooses to save will hear and the gospel and will respond to the gospel in repentance and faith.
