That's what I'm asking. Will the people fight their own battles to enforce the peace (meaning fighting anyone that doesn't like the idea of Shepard as god) or do they wait for Shepard to come save them? Either way, it is a self defeating idea. Even if shepard is the most virtuous paragon, he's still a an all powerful dictator.

"The man I used to be..." Tells you that he is not a man anymore. He's a god. He thinks like a god. Sure he may have Shepard's ideals to base it's thoughts on but it is still a god and will think differently. The reapers didn't come to the harvesting solution until after hundreds of thousands of years of trial and error. Eventually, the god shepard will come to the a similar assinine circular logic solution that causes harm to the galaxy for the "greater good."

Frankie, Shepard wouldn't use them to satisfy a sort of lust of power similar to the Illusive Man's. He is a good man and wouldn't want control over the Reapers for power.

are u serious? how can u pick this trash wen the husk and other reaper creatures are still alive? using the reapers only means that shepard is just as bad as the Illusive Man who would do anything, like using a murderous race of machines, for power. and wat does the reapers have to protect them from? they're the monsters

Well their outlook in how they intend to use their newfound power is the difference. As for what happens beyond what is stated. Nobody knows. That's up to each person to decide for themselves :) until Bioware says otherwise I guess.

But that's what I'm saying. Full Renegade shepard would want to be an all powerful a-hole yet the dialogue makes him only slightly less benevolent than his paragon counterpart. In control, there is no difference between Paragon and Renegade. It's only semantics.

There are no 'wrong' choices bro. If someone has played renegade all three games are they wrong to do so? No. It's the beauty of the game. If they want their Shepard to be a renegade godlike person, then that is totally ok. Not what you or I would do I'm guessing. But we can't judge them for their decision.

Haha he doesn't as a renegade. Well no, he just becomes 'Reaper' version of Samara. Forcing peace on others. Again though, great material for another game I reckon.

Perhaps. The game does not specify that far into the future. However, let's assume that something does happen. Either Shepard goes rouge, or people to not want to 'submit' to Shepard's 'peacekeeping' force. Then wouldn't that be an amazing set up for a possible sequel? :) I reckon that would be awesome.
