Late in the 9:02am minute of 911 CBS had a "live" camera on the wtc. It caught an object which has come to be known as the CBS divebomber, not caught by any other network. CBS did a camera change and missed it's conclusion, but, in fact, it didn't miss

I think that's why most people dont' believe and why I have never believed, is because the people presenting the "information" are either insane or just dumb. Now I don't know about how long it would take jet fuel at 550 degrees to melt steel but, being a plumber, I can tell you that my propane torch I use for water lines is only about 800 to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit, and after 10 years of various soldering jobs (and the occasional mischief inducing boredom) I have never melted even copper with it; and copper's melting/boiling point is nowhere near the melting or boiling point of even low carbon (soft) steel.

I used to think these guys were crazy, but I just googled the "temperature of jet fuel" and came across the Wikipedia article on jet fuel. Now there are two main varieties of jet fuel used by most jet aircraft in the world, especially jet airliners in the US. The variety used by US jet airliners and only by US jet airliners is "Jet Fuel A". The open air burning temperatures of jet fuel A and A1(the type used by the rest of the world) are identical, 287*C or 549*F.....
