its obviasly had the s38 engine fitted, as everybody who tunes cars knows that the original 3 series engines, including the s50b30 are no good for turboing etc. the s38 however is a monster

this e30 doesn't has a s38 engine....
it has a s50b30 (m3 engine of 1992)

Sorry, but you are wrong. You may have mixed it up with another car, this got a 3.8 litre S38.
