I have played in front of a crowd of 20,000 people. I have also acted in several plays in front of packed houses. Just because I see others as being better than me does not mean I have inferiority issues. It's called honesty, and realism, try it. Everything a musician listens to has some influence on what or how they play.
Since you are up my ass so much why don't you put your money where your mouth is and post vids.

Tabs do not give you the technique required to convincingly play music.
You can teach a bird how to say words but you can't have a conversation with it.

I am far from a stuck up guitarist.
Most of the guitarists I know are way better than me. I just don't have time for tabs or jerks like you.

Ugh, nothing worse than stuck-up guitarists. "I play like myself" and "tabs don't teach you how to play". Pfeh. You don't play like yourself, you play like an amalgamation of your interests, and tabs definitely do teach you to play.

Well, not really. I play like myself. But some people to listen to are Howlin Wolf,Albert King and Otis Rush.
Hubert Sumlin was the Wolf's Guitarist. Also Clarence Gatemouth Brown, who I base a lot of my style on.
Tabs don't teach you how to play, only how to mimick.

That was awesome!! The only problem is that its hard to stop and start vids on youtube, but thats not really ur fault :P. Would u know where i can maybe get some tabs of blues stuff like your playing?
