Yes AS you can tell it is another sx jazz bass copy, pretty nice looking and sounding bass, it is stupid not to get one of these they're pretty cheap!

  • what are you playing that through??? sounds like the bass on RHCP songs, i think flea used a 70's jazz bass though and im having a hard time beleiving a 120 dollar bass sounds like a 70's jazz

  • @masenavery20 Well believe it it's all stock! But to be honest this bass feels and sounds nothing like an old Fender BUT it's incredibly good for the price, I though I was stealing it for that money.

  • @masenavery20 Oh and Flea uses a 1961 Jazz bass, one of the first ever made with the stack knobs, They use pre CBS Fenders Only...

  • would a warmoth neck fit on one of these things?

  • @brooklynstudio I've no idea, sorry

  • i've been looking for a good bass with a reasonable price for a while now. thanks to you i've finally made my choice. thanks

  • Well I'm glad I did that! it's a really nice bass for it's price, I think the best choice, you could also check DavidSinRocks videos playing SX basses, Thanks for your comment!

  • Hola! Esos Sx parecen ser mejores que los Squiere? Que me recomendas entre estos dos ? Estuve viendo y tienen modelos facheros, y mas economicos que los Squiere. un abrazo

  • @brooklynstudio got a new 1 but am still waitin 4 tuners so im waitin to put up a vid

  • @MRCOOL2345e you say you bought a warmoth for your sx eh? I just went to your channel and saw a video that you posted with your "first bass"... Whats up with that?

  • @brooklynstudio warmoth probably cause i did my sx ursa 1 with a p-bass from warmoth and it fit. i didnt like that new sx headstock so i changed it =^)

  • Are you using flat wound strings on this blue bass?

  • I would get one of these, but here in Mexico it costs the same to buy and ship an SX bass here then to just buy a Squier in a local music a store...

  • Lake placid blue?

  • sweet

  • the slap part is pow....by larry graham central station :)

  • I've got one of the vintage series jazz' and it plays pretty good. I do have some grips though. First the pickups sound good stock but are made like crap. They're two tiny magnets taped together, which also repel each other, so my neck pickup had almost no output on the upper strings because the magnet wouldn't hold. Also the truss rod uses a weird alen key size and mine needs to be adjusted! Other then that I like it, and I did put some cheap PU's in it so it's playable:)
