First part of video is at top of 1000 Steps Trail, which ends at El Paso's Wyler Ariel Tramway. It was St. Patrick's Day, so tram was closed and we had the place to ourselves. Second part of video is a day later as we go up the short rock climbing portion of the Ron Coleman Trail.

  • @marblecutter Wyler tramway is in the opposite direction. You do not pass it on the way to smuggler's pass.

  • @Richard5sf The wall is like a step pyramid and they have added a chain to make it easier. The trail continues past Wyler tram, pass the antennae and into Smuggler's pass at Trans Mountain road

  • I've always wanted to hike the Ron Coleman trail but was worried about the 30 foot wall climb. Now I know I will never do it!!! Thanks for showing me what it looks like!!!
